Vox Veniae

I had the incredible privilege this week of getting to write a post on the liturgy site of my former faith community Vox Veniae.  Vox was the community that walked with me during some very rocky college years, and it was the church where my wife Ashlee was baptized.  We still feel such strong ties to the community that Ashlee has often talked openly about naming our child after the lead pastor, Gideon Tsang.  I don’t know if that’s creepy or not…it definitely might be, but, they mean that much to us.

Anyway. Here’s a link to the article I wrote for the community on brats, humility, grace, and falling in love with the Bride of Christ.

Here’s an article about Vox which recently appeared in the NYTimes.

And – extra special find – footage from Ashlee’s baptism in 2006.  Watching it’s making me a little emotional.
